ROLE OF THE COMMITTEEThe primary function of the Human Resources Committee is to set the policy framework, review of succession plans for various management levels and recommend the remuneration of Executive Directors and Senior Executives. This is done to ensure:
In addition, the Human Resources Committee reviews the recommendations of the Management for higher education within or outside the country, and renewal of service contracts or seperation of a member of senior management. MEMBERS Members and details of attendance of Directors at the Human Resources Committee Meetings for the year 2008-2009 is as follows.
*Independent Non Executive Director COMMITTEE'S PROCEDURES Meetings are conducted at least annually or at such other frequency as the Chairman may determine. In order to form a quorom for the meeting, at least two members shall be present. In the absence of the Chairman, the members present shall elect a Chairman for the meeting from amongst the members present. |
